Regele听began his career at 91黑料网 First as a Credit Analyst in Commercial Lending, where his analytical skills and strong work ethic quickly distinguished him. By 2014, he听had advanced听to Credit Officer and Junior Commercial Loan Officer, completing the Massachusetts Bankers Association School of Commercial Lending and earning his certificate that same year. His commitment to professional growth continued as he progressed to Assistant Vice President and Commercial Loan Officer in February 2018.听

In 2019,听Regele听completed the National Association of Federally Insured Credit Unions Management and Leadership Institute program and was promoted to Vice President of Commercial Lending. Most recently, in 2025, he advanced to Senior Vice President of Commercial Lending in recognition of his outstanding performance and leadership.听His听excellence was further acknowledged in 2024 when he received 91黑料网 First’s inaugural President’s Award, highlighting his exceptional contributions to the organization.听

Supporting local events

91黑料网 First has 14 branches across 4 counties in Massachusetts and we are actively participating in local events in the communities we serve. For several years we’ve been involved in events like the Winthrop Improvement and Historical Society’s (WIHA) Strawberry Festival, The Taste of Shrewsbury Street in Worcester, The Wicked Big Car Show, Whitinsville Community Center’s Cars in the Park, Saugus Founders Day, and Douglas Oktoberfest among many others. We’re proud of our continued partnerships with these community events which grow bigger and more exciting every year.

Being involved in community events is more than just participation for us. It鈥檚 a reflection of our values as a regional credit union. We believe that true success comes from building strong, meaningful connections with the people and organizations around us. These events give us the opportunity to meet our neighbors, listen to their stories, and work together toward a shared goal: making our communities the best they can be.

Volunteering

Our team spent their time volunteering this year for organizations like and . In our partnership with Habitat for Humanity we built a playhouse that was donated to a child of a veteran family, the Bourdon family, as well as a real house for a Worcester family in need.

We put together a team to walk in the at Polar Park. Our walking team, “91黑料网 First for a Cure,” fundraised more than $7,000 for cancer research and clinical trials. We are proud to have a network of employees who are generous enough to give their time for others, and we can’t wait to see what they accomplish in 2026.

We held several donation drives throughout the year including a food drive for , an essentials drive for , and holiday gift drives for , , , , and .

Our charitable giving in 2025 included but was not limited to organizations dedicated to helping veterans, children’s wellbeing, shelter animals, food insecurity, cancer research, and environmental protection.听 Some notable donations from last year included:

$50,000 to Fresh Truck

Fresh Truck is an organization in the Boston area whose mission is to provide fresh food to households that need it most. There are many neighborhoods that don’t have an easily accessible grocery store to shop for healthy food. Fresh Truck created a mobile food market that drives around these neighborhoods to solve this very problem. In addition to 91黑料网 First’s monetary donation, we gave 1,000 canvas grocery totes.

$20,000 to local food banks

We donated a combined $20,000 to and during the holiday season when families are in need of it the most.

Worcester County Food Bank and 91黑料网-Dudley Food Share Donations

$10,000 to Habitat for Humanity MetroWest/Greater Worcester

We helped ‘s team purchase new laptops and technical equipment that will greatly assist them in their mission of building safe and affordable homes for families in need.

We believe in supporting the causes that are important to our team members. To empower them to give back in a personal and meaningful way, we launched a new initiative in March 2025. This program enables each of our departments and branch teams to select a cause they are passionate about and support it on behalf of the credit union. What started as a small operation in 2008 has grown into the region鈥檚 largest family and privately owned home service company. They are experts in four distinct trades: plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and drain/sewer services. But beyond their technical skills, they鈥檙e deeply committed to the people they serve. We sat down with the team for a Q&A to learn more about their history, their unique business needs, and their choice to partner with 91黑料网 First.

Q: Can you briefly describe your HVAC business and what prompted you to purchase your own building?

A: Prior to purchasing our Howe Avenue property, I was a tenant of a smaller property located in Sutton MA which was not only limiting our ability to grow but also weakening our cash flow in that a good size monthly check was being paid to a landlord. My business outgrew our rental space, and when we found an ideal property to suit our needs, we began seeking lenders.

Q: What challenges or goals were you trying to address by owning your facility instead of leasing?

A: Becoming my own landlord would allow me to retain more earnings, and control the maintenance and quality of our space.

Q: How did the credit union support you throughout the building purchase process?

A: The support I got from WFFCU was second to none. Between environmental concerns and appraisals my transaction had challenges. It was great to have experts on my side to help push the process forward.

Q: Was there anything about the loan process that stood out compared to other financing experiences you鈥檝e had?

A: The consistent check ins from the whole team while we moved towards closing kept everything on the right track.

Q: How would you describe the communication and responsiveness of the credit union鈥檚 commercial lending team?

A: Lightning fast. When I had a question- answers were given in days, sometimes even hours.

Q: How has owning your building impacted your HVAC business operations or growth?

A: Moving into our building allowed us to scale by 75% in the last 3 years.

Q: Did the financing structure help improve cash flow or long-term planning for your business?

A: The extra revenue stream from the rental income allows for access to extra CapEx cash.

Q: How well did the credit union understand the needs of your business and industry?

A: Very well! They were also very helpful with providing referrals for other services I needed for the building.

Q: Looking back, what part of the experience made the biggest difference for your business?

A: The easy lending approval and closing made the process stress free.

Q: How would you describe your overall experience in one or two words?

A: While unplanned expenses can pop up, as long as you have well written rental contracts, and keep up with routine maintenance (which never ends!) a commercial asset is a long-term win. That鈥檚 why it鈥檚 called REAL estate!
